Mr. Barry Jay Baum, age 68, of Christiana, TN passed away Thursday, June 11, 2015 at his residence. He was the son of Sylvia Kleger and the late Nathan Baum. Mr. Baum was a truck driver for over 40 years. He enjoyed being a member of the Short Mountain Repeater Club and was an avid motorcyclist. Mr. Baum is survived by his wife of 24 years Donna Baum; three daughters, Andy McLeod and her husband Richard of Wartrace, TN, Sara Jay Baum of Baltimore, MD, Meredith Wiggins and her husband Mark of Christiana; two sons, Jay Hawk and his wife Georgia of Lititz, PA and Josh Baum of Baltimore, MD; twelve grandchildren, Arianna, Brody, Alexa, Brooklyn, Trinity, Anthony, Dylan, Cayden, Braxton, Alissa, Cade, and Trent; one great-grandchild, Lyric; mother, Sylvia Kleger Baum of Baltimore, MD; sister, Arlene Weiner and her husband Jack of San Dimas, CA; mother-in-law, Charlene P. King of Christiana; and four dogs who were his babies, Jeanie, Bambi, Chewie, Smokey Joe, Jr. "Jay Jay." A memorial service will be held at a later date.
