Barbara Jo Yates age 68 of Gum Community, passed away Monday August 3, 2015. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Rubert and Edith Halliburton Timbs. Mrs. Yates is survived by her husband of 47 years, David Yates, two sons; Russell and Steven Yates all of Murfreesboro, and one grandchild; Kenneth D. Chumley. Visitation will be 5:00pm until time of memorial service at 7:00pm Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Brother Lester Hawkins officiating.
