Barbara "Barbi" Yang, age 53, passed away Friday, April 3, 2026. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bob and Barb Brannock; and best friend, Angi Turcott.

She is survived by her husband, Tout "Tee" Yang; children, Aaron Ratliff, Cassi Loomes, Andy Loomes, and Tai "Tai Tai" Yang; grandson, Brantley Ratliff; brother, Jess Risley; and beloved four-legged companion, Titan.

Barbi was a free spirit. She enjoyed laughing along with her favorite episodes of Friends, being outside by the ocean or enjoying the mountain views. Known for her loyalty, she was the kind of person who was always there when you needed her most, standing by your side and offering strength and comfort. Above all, she was a devoted and loving wife, mother, sister, and proud grandmother also known as GiGi.

Memorial gathering with the family will be Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 1:00-4:00 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. The family requests that guests wear bright colors in Barbi's honor.
