Barbara Jean Wooten,age 73 of LaVergne died Tuesday December 12, 2017. She was a native of Nashville and was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Wooten, Sr., mother,Viola Davis Burton, and a son, Lonnie Wooten, Jr., grandson, Jason Owens. Mrs. Wooten was of the Baptist faith, and a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Lisa Johnson, Tracy Wooten, Keith Wooten,  Jamie Wooten, Shane Wooten, Darlene Spann. 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 12 Noon Saturday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna, with Matt Harris officating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitaiton will be 4PM-8Pm Thursday and 2PM-8PM Friday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. www.woodfinchapel.com
