Barbara Lynn Woodroof, age 71 of Murfreesboro died Thursday July 19, 2012. She was a native of Bedford County and was preceded in death by her father, Walter Avery Throneberry. Mrs. Woodroof was a member of Franklin Road Baptist Church and a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Wayne Curtis Woodroof; children, Debra Lynn Johnson of Smyrna, Denise York of Adams, TN. Steven Carl Medley of Murfreesboro, Diane Hall and husband Ricky of Shelbyville, Melissa Ann Woodroof of Murfreesboro, Kevin Dewayne Woodroof and wife Kathy of Smyrna; mother, Martha Lee Moore Tolar of Murfreesboro; sister, Nancy Allen of Murfreesboro; brothers, Tony Tolar of Manchester, Gary Thoneberry of Shelbyville, and Chris Tolar of Shelbyville; 28 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 10:00AM Saturday at Franklin Road Baptist Church with Mike Norris officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
