Barbara Sue Givens Vincion

Barbara Sue Givens Vincion, age 86 of Murfreesboro, TN, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, September 4, 2026. A native of Milton, TN, she was the daughter of the late Brodie Howard Givens and Daisy Fann Givens.

Mrs. Vincion is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Billy J. Vincion; daughter, Tammy O’Neal and her husband Bruce of Madison, AL; granddaughter, Claire Guthrie and her husband Avery of Smyrna, GA; sisters, Helen Haggan of Smyrna, TN and Donna Smith of Murfreesboro, TN; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be held Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, September 11, 2026, at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jason Barrett and Rev. Ben Stickle officiating. Burial will follow in the Milton Cemetery with Bruce O’Neal, Avery Guthrie, Mike Ingle, Frank Maynard, John Ingle, and Danny Cotton serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the men of Taylor’s Chapel Baptist Church.

Mrs. Vincion was a faithful member of Taylor’s Chapel Baptist Church for 68 years, and a retired banker.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Taylor’s Chapel Baptist Church in memory of Mrs. Vincion.
