Barbara Lee Orton McGlaun, age 80, went to meet her Savior on Tuesday, September 13, 2011. She was a native of Alta Vista, KS and the daughter of the late Alvin and Edith Williams Orton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. McGlaun, daughter, Linda Smythia, and son, Randall McGlaun. Funeral service will be 10:00am Friday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Bro. Joe Clark will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. She is survived by her daughters, Tamara (Ben) McRight and Cynthia (Charles) Hartley, nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and her brother, Dennis (Bonnie) Orton. Mrs. McGlaun was a member of Stones River Baptist Church and retired from Middle Tennessee Mental Health. She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
