Mrs. Barbara Linda Wetherell Kendrick, age 83, of Smyrna, TN passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018. She was born in Sheffield, IL to the late Charles F. and Venetta Mae Oakes Wetherell. Mrs. Kendrick was a member of Blue Ridge United Methodist Church in Blue Ridge, GA and was the wind beneath her husband's wings.

Mrs. Kendrick is survived by her husband of 51 years, Peter Stanley Kendrick; sons, Kevin Kendrick and his wife Diana of Smyrna and Michael Kendrick and his wife Julie of N. Charleston, SC; grandchildren, Erika Leigh Kendrick, Stephanie Aldridge, Nathaniel Kendrick, Gregory Kendrick, and Jonathan Freeze; great-grandchildren, Morgan and Piper Aldridge; sister, Diane Felsman and her husband Bill of Denver, CO; nephews, Mike and Greg Hubbard; and niece, Beth Hubbard.

Burial of Mrs. Kendrick's cremated remains will take place at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C. at a later date.
