Barbara Jenkins, age 69 of LaVergne, died Saturday at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She was a native of Nashville and was the daughter of the late Walter Rufus Roberson and Bobbie May Hayes Burns. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister Louise Moore. Mrs. Jenkins is survived by her husband of 35 years Kenny Jenkins; three children, Amanda Marina and her husband Bryan of Woodbury, GA, Keith Jenkins of LaVergne and Carl Berlin and Fiance' Julie Dyer of Murfreesboro; grandchildren Aivazian, Brysan, Jake, and Brandon; sisters Clara Richardson of Brentwood, Lora Koening of San Ramon, CA and a brother Jerry Roberson and his wife Pam of Oklahoma. Mrs. Jenkins was a member of New Beginnings Community Church and retired from Quality Industries after 23 years of service. Visitation will be Monday night from 4:00 until 8:00pm at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Tuesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Bro. Kenny Jenkins officiating.
