Barbara Faye Haynes Patz, age 69, of Murfreesboro, died Tuesday February 22, 2011 at her residence. A native of Holts Corner, TN. she was the daughter of the late Frank and Jewell Fagan Haynes. She is also preceded in death by her son, Russell Steven Wingerter and her brother, George Edward Haynes. Funeral Services will be Friday at 1:00 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Brother Alan Barrett will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Patz is survived by her husband, Dennis Patz; son and daughter in law, Greg and Charleen Wingerter of Murfreesboro; brother, Norris Dale Haynes of Manchester, TN. and seven grandchildren; a step son, Dennis Lee Patz Jr. of Woodbury and two step daughters, Kimberly (Larry) Ann Kenda of La Port, IN. and Linda (Scott) Lee Brady of Cedar Lake, IN. Mrs. Patz was a member of Temple Baptist and was a 1958 graduate of Central High School. She was employed with B & E graphics and had previously worked with the Daily News Journal for 20 years. She spent a lot of time volunteering at the West Main Mission and the Uncle Dave Macon Days. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. 893-5151.
