BARBARA WOODIE KERRY GERALD age 49 of Murfreesboro, TN died Sunday October 4, 2009. She was born in Opelousas, LA but raised in Baker, LA. She is survived by sons, Dustin Gerald and his wife, Ashley Gaitan, Paul Gerald and his wife Jesse Gerald; daughter Natalie Gerald all of Murfreesboro, TN; parents, Jesse and Edith Fabiano Kerry; grandmother, Bernice Kerry all of Baker, LA; brothers, Matthew J. Kerry of Livingston, LA and Michael J. Kerry of Shreveport, LA; sister, Kathleen K. Bates of Zachary, LA; grandchildren, Jeremy Riggs and Addison Gaitan both of Murfreesboro, TN; special friend, Dallas Bush of Murfreesboro, TN; and father of her children, Willys Gerald of Murfreesboro, TN. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Rev. Francis D. Hennessy officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Ms. Gerald was of the Catholic faith and a homemaker. She was an organ donor which gave people a better life. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart / Stroke Association in her memory. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
