Barbara Crunk, 73, of Valley Mills, Texas passed away January 21,2012. Family and friends will meet at Woodfin Funeral Chapel at 10:00am Sunday, January 29th in Murfreesboro TN for a procession to Coleman Cemetery for a graveside service at 10:30am. Barbara was born in Brownwood Tx on Feb. 21,1938 to Buster Byers and Lynett (Walker) Byers. Barbara married Jon Crunk in Bronte Texas in 1959 and moved to Midland that same year. They moved from Midland to Valley Mills in 1966 to raise their family. When Jon retired in 2001 they moved to Murfreesboro TN to be close to their daughters. She enjoyed the last 10 years of her life spending time with her daughters and numerous grandchildren. She had many friends. Barbara was very creative with arts and crafts and for a few years operated a ceramic shop in Elm Mott Texas. She also enjoyed cooking, playing bingo and making scrapbooks of all her children and grandchildren. She was very involved with family and was a loving mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, Buster and Lynett Byers and her loving husband Jon Crunk. She is survived by her daughters, Dona Ann and Tommy Hennig Jr. of Murfreesboro, Jona Kay and Terry Ryan of Lexington, Ky., sons, Kurt Crunk and Elizabeth of Hewitt, Jody Walker and wife Vicky, of Houston, Bruce Crunk and wife Donna Jean of Crawford, granddaughters, Brooke Ryan, Candace Ryan, Brittney Ryan, Erica Walker, Bazae Walker, Jessica Crunk and Katelyn Crunk, grandsons, Justin Gerik, Nolan Crunk, Deejay Crunk, Jonathan Ryan and Cougar Joe Walker, great-grandchildren, Landen Gerik and Branden Crunk, and many nieces and nephews.
