Barbara Jane Burnett Poague, age 74 of Shelbyville died Sunday December 9, 2018. She was a native of Sharon, Pennsylvania, and was the daughter of the late George Edward Burnett, and Rosella Robinson Burnett. Ms. Poague was also preceded in death by her former husband, Larry Reynolds Sells, Sr.; brother, George Burnett, Jr,. She had worked at Shoney's in Murfreesboro, Gem Top, and managed Animal City in Lebanon.

Ms. Poague is survived by her children; Carol Grzymkowski and husband James of Clayton NC,  Evelyn Kiviniemi and husband David of Christiana, Larry Sells, Jr., and wife Crisanta of Philippines,  Matthew Sells and wife Diane of Murfreesboro; ten grandchildren, Nicholas Grzymkowski, Stephanie Grzymkowski both of Clayton, NC., Amanda Cox and husband Ted of Shelbyville, Amber Kean and husband Aaron of Murfreesboro, Daniel Kiviniemi of Murfreesboro, Shea Kristen Farley and husband Roger of Lewisburg, Haley Brook Sells of Johnson City, TN., Tyler Sells, Matthew Sells, Mason Sells all of Murfreesboro; five great-grandchildren, Madden, Miller, Jillian, Eli and Ethan; sisters, Gloria Pollock of Pennsylvania,  Shirley Wanser of Ohio, Patricia Peterson of Flordia, Sharon Jones of Arziona; brother, Robert Burnett of Pennsylvania ; former husband, William Poague of Manchester.
