Mrs. Barbara B. Bugg, age 71, of Murfreesboro, TN went to be with the Lord Sunday, December 31, 2017. She was born in Gadsden, AL to the late Bill and June Moore Bugg. Barbara earned her master's in occupational therapy from the University of Alabama, Birmingham. She worked in her chosen field at the Alvin C. York Medical Center in Murfreesboro for a number of years before her retirement. Barbara was very active at First United Methodist Church in Murfreesboro. She was also an avid Alabama football fan and lover of animals.

Barbara is survived by her brother, Bill Bugg of Franklin, TN; niece, Virginia Bugg Eady and her husband Hall of Mountain Brook, AL; great-nieces, Harris Eady and Louise Eady; cousins, Glenda Gail Bugg of Atlanta, GA, Gordon Bugg of Auburn, AL, and Greg Bugg of Baltimore, MD; and two aunts, Jane Dake Bugg and Barbara Reuter Bugg both of Atlanta.

A Celebration of Life will be held at First United Methodist Church in Murfreesboro on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will follow after the service.
