Austin Gray DeJarnatt age 91 of Shelbyville, pass to his eternal glory October 16, 2014. He was native of Murfreesboro, and the son of the late John Nance and Ethel Carter DeJarnatt. He was also preceded in death by his wife; Louise Richardson DeJarnatt, brother, James and Sister Betty Joe. Mr. DeJarnatt is survived by two brothers; John DeJarnatt, Jr. of Murfreesboro, and Robert "Bob" DeJarnatt of Fayetteville. Nieces Linda Carter and Ann Pearce and nephews; Mike, Dan, Alan DeJarnatt. Mr. DeJarnatt was a graduate of Buchanan High School and Middle Tennessee State University. He was a U. S. Army veteran and was employed by The Caterpillar Corp. of Peoria, IL.; Untied City Gas Company of Shelbyville, and retired from Cleveland Pneumatic Corp. of Tullahoma. He was an active member and leader in Shelbyville First Baptist Church, Chamber of Commerce, Kiwanis Clubs, Bee Keepers Associations, and Riverbend Country Club. Funeral services will be 3:00pm Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Brother Jeff Rasnick will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be two hours prior to service at Woodfin memorial Chapel. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
