Aubrey Lee Sanders, age 88 of Smyrna, passed away on February 21, 2018. He was a native of Davidson County and the son of the late Joseph Lawrence and Jennie Claire Steining Sanders. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances Watson Sanders and son, John Thomas Sanders.

Visitation will be 5pm until 8pm Friday, February 23, 2018 at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna and from 10am Saturday until the Funeral Mass at 10:30am Saturday, February 24, 2018 at St. Luke Catholic Church, Smyrna.

He is survived by his sister, Ann Ruth Martin of Mount Dora, FL and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Sanders was a 1947 graduate of Father Ryan, served in the US Army before earning an Associate degree from Peabody College and an electrical maintenance supervisor at Opryland Theme Park until his retirement in 1993.
