AUBREY M. BREWER age 82 of Murfreesboro, TN died Thursday Oct. 16, 2008. A native of Woodville, Mississippi, he was the son of the late Arthiel and Loutee Appleton Brewer. Survived by wife of 62 years, Bessie OKieff Thomas Brewer, daughter, Becky Shelton, brother and sister in law, Kenneth and Mai Brewer, and sister, Mary Alice Hunter all of Murfreesboro, TN. Mr. Brewer is also survived by his extended family Joyce and Bobby Dutton of Auburntown, TN, Tim, Nicole and Mary Claire. Funeral service will be 3:00 PM Sunday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jerry Howard and Bud Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens Monday at 10:00AM. Mr. Brewer attended Mt. Herman and Immanuel Baptist Church. Mr. Brewer was career military, with an Honorable discharge from the U.S. Air Force serving in Korea and Vietnam. He was awarded the Bronze Star. Pallbearers will be Joe Brewington, Jim Briley, Vernon Edmonds, Joel Reed, Donald Jones, and Edward Leach. Honorary pallbearers will be Earl West and James Rowland.
