Aubrey Eugene Blanks, age 60 of Smyrna died Friday November 23, 2018. He was a native of Rutherford Co. and was preceded in death by his parents, William Blanks, and Lorene Evelyn Christopher Blanks; sister, Donna Blanks. Mr. Blanks was a member of Giles Creek Baptist Church and had worked for the Town of Smyrna for 36 years.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Valerie Blanks; children, Amy Blanks of Smyrna, Rusty Blanks and wife Desiree of Smyrna, Jeremy Crouch of Nashville, Jessica Nesbitt of Smyrna; grandchildren, Austin Heath, Angel Heath, James Veach, Alanna Blanks; brother, Michael Blanks of Smyrna, sister, Betty Blanks of Smyrna.

Visitation will be 4PM to 8PM Monday and 12Noon till 2PM Tuesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Funeral service will be 2PM Tuesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Brother Terry Campbell will officiate. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery. www.woodfinchapel.com
