ARTHUR DALE SNYDER, age 77, of Murfreesboro, Tn. died Friday, Jan. 9, 2009 at Middle Tennessee Medical Center. He was born in Topeka, Kansas and was the son of the late Malcolm & Ethel Feldman Snyder. He is survived by his wife, Velta Meyers-Snyder; sons, Randall Snyder of Memphis and Robert Leon Jones Snyder and his wife Deborah of North Fort Myers, Fla.; step children, Nancy McGill, Sonny Arbuckle and Jack Arbuckle of Murfreesboro; brother, Ken Snyder of Nevada, Sister in law; Virginia Snyder of Wyoming; 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 5 step grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren. Funeral services 10 am Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Rev. Eddie Smotherman officiating. Graveside services 11:30 am Tuesday at Hermitage Memorial Gardens with full military rites. Visitation with the family 4-7 pm Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Mr. Snyder was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, a veteran of the United States Air Force having served 22 years, and a retired Instructor at Nashville Tech Institute.
