Arthur Art E. Johnson, age 87, of Murfreesboro, TN. died Friday, June 04, 2010. A native of Akron, Ohio he was the son of the late Herbert and Jennie Marie Anderson Johnson. He is also preceded in death by his two sisters Alice Cormany and Dorothy Reed. A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 18, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. Greenlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Akron, Ohio. Mr. Johnson is survived by his brother and sister in law, Herbert (Arlene) L. Johnson Jr.; two nieces, Denise Reed (Ted) Esker and their children Audra and Jennie; Lynn McCrady and her children Michelle and Brandon; a nephew, Jon Cormany as well as four great-great nephews. Mr. Johnson was a graduate of Central High School in Akron, Ohio. He served with the Army Air Core in Italy during World War II and was a retired Lithographer with Akron Standard Reproduction.
