Obituary

Arthanise Gilliam Wright, age 40, of Murfreesboro, TN. died Saturday, February 19, 2011. Funeral Services will be at 1:00pm Tuesday at Belle Aire Baptist Church. Dr. Dean Sisk will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mrs. Wright was a native of Coffee County, and a 1988 Graduate of Coffee County High School. She attended Tennessee Tech. and later transferred to MTSU where she graduated in 1994 with a B.S. Degree in nursing. She was a former buyer and consultant for Susan G. Komen Nashville Affiliate. She served as honorary chairman for the Relay for Life and honoree for the Rally for the Cure Golf and Tennis Tournament. Mrs. Wright is survived by her husband Dr. M. Anthony Wright and their children Abigail Abby Wright and Austin Clay Wright both of Murfreesboro; mother, Jeanette Hittson Gilliam of Manchester and sister Marzetia (Doug) Mullican both of Cartersville Georgia; brother, Wyman (Mary) Gilliam of Viola; niece, Bailey Gilliam of McMinnville; and nephew, Chris (Jordyn) Mullican of Portland, father-in-law Ralph (Debbie) Wright, sister-in-law Regina (Kimmy Joe) Stewart, niece Allison Stewart, brother-in-law Nick (Whitney) Hamby all of Jamestown. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Edward Gilliam Jr. and her mother-in-law Patsy Moles Wright. Mrs. Wright was a member of Belle Aire Baptist Church and was a registered nurse. Active Pallbearers will be Dexter Woods, Craig Hamby, Mike Smith, Kevin May, Rob McGill, Randy Stiltner, Johnny Howland, and John Nevill. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kristy Gross, Gloria Cooley, Melanie Woods, Connie Rodriguez, Laurie Smith, Jeanine Joyner, Missy Curry, Lisa McLaurin, Stacy Hamby, Barbara Rogers, Tracy Lannom, Lorie Holcomb, Christy Huddleston and Kelly Craig. Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Brest Cancer Foundation, the Junior League Camp Forget Me Not or The American Cancer Society Relay For Life in memory of Mrs. Wright.
