ARNOLD DOUGLAS KENT, SR, age 83, of Murfreesboro died Saturday, June 27, 2009. He was a native of Patchburg, AL and the son of the late John Arnold and Lena Belle Fowler Kent. Memorial service 2:00pm Sunday, July 12, 2009 at Salem United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Elizabeth Tucker Kent, son, Arnold Douglas (Adriana) Kent, Jr of Jacksonville, FL, daughter, Carla Kent (Wilford) Ford of Murfreesboro, 11 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. Mr. Kent was a member of Salem United Methodist Church and was Past Master of Claiborne Masonic Lodge. Prior to retiring he was in the jewelry business.
