Arlen Neil Carter, age 63 passed away Sunday December 27, 2015. He was a native of Great Falls Montana and was a retired ranch manager and herdsman. In more recent years he worked for Publix as a Seafood Specialist. Mr. Carter was a member of Advent Lutheran Church, serving as the vice president of church council. He was an avid sports fan. Mr. Carter followed the New York Yankees, Dallas Cowboys, and Montana State Bobcats. He was also a proud MTSU Blue Raider Fan and was always in his favorite seat during basketball and football games. He was a member of the Blue Raider Athletic Association and Kermit Davis Sixth Man Club. He also was a member of the American Hereford Association.

Mr. Carter is survived by his wife, Jessica and an only son Austin of Rockvale, TN; mother, Marge Carter of Choteau, Montana; brothers, Terry Carter and wife Paulette of Nevada, Gary Carter and wife Barb of Montana; sisters, Karen Sauke and husband Rob of Montana; Sandra Wooding of Nevada, and Shirley Atwater of Montana, and a host of many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Carter, and Brother Raymond Carter.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in memory of Arlen Carter to Advent Lutheran Church, 1700 Irby Lane, Murfreesboro TN 37127.

Visitation will be 3:00PM to 7:00PM Wednesday at Advent Lutheran Church. Funeral service will be 10:00AM Thursday at Advent Lutheran Church, Rev. Michael Jannett will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
