Anthony Brent Layne age 52 of Murfreesboro, TN, died Wednesday August 17, 2011. He was a native of Williamson County, and was preceded in death by his father, James Thomas Layne. Mr. Layne is survived by his wife, Peggy Bogle Layne; mother, Sue Lofton Layne; sons, Thomas Brent Layne and Christopher Patrick Layne; daughter, Katherine Sue Layne Leonard and her husband Toby; granddaughter, Katherine Alexa Layne; grandsons, Sean Anthony Booth, Landon James Booth, and Brennen Layne Leonard all of Murfreesboro, TN. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Brother Franklin Williams and Brother Joe Woodside officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with Gene Bogle, Robert Tittle, Ben Allen, Toby Leonard, Tommy and Chris Layne serving as pallbearers.
