June 6, 1965 – January 23, 2019
Frances Ann "Annie" Young Yaudes, age 53, of Murfreesboro, TN went to her eternal home Wednesday, January 23, 2019 while surrounded by her loved ones.
Ann was born June 6, 1965 in Neubrucke, Germany. She was a 1984 graduate of Smyrna High School, attended Middle Tennessee State University, and graduated from Nashville Auto-Diesel College. Ann married the love of her life, John Yaudes, on July 11, 1992. He survives.
Other survivors include son, Jack Yaudes of Murfreesboro; sister, Kathy Ellis and her husband David of Freetown, IN; mother-in-law, Adele Yaudes Chisholm and her husband David of Olean, NY; brother-in-law, Shayne Yaudes and his wife Mary Ellen of Hartselle, AL; two nieces; four nephews; two stepsisters-in-law; and one stepbrother-in-law. Ann was preceded in death by her father, Jim Young; mother, Dot Young; father-in-law, Jack Yaudes; and an infant daughter.
After traveling to five different states, Ann returned to her beloved Tennessee. She was a lifetime member of the AmVets Auxiliary Post 1 in Cuba, NY and was a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy. She was instrumental in establishing the Molly Morehead chapter of the UDC in Owensboro, KY. Along with her commitment to the preservation of southern history, Ann joined her husband and other relatives in Civil War reenactments.
Ann had a green thumb and specialized in roses and flowers. She was a photographer, scrapbooker, and loved crafts. Ann sprinkled happiness everywhere she went and never knew a stranger.
Visitation with the family will be Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 27, 2019 at 12:00noon at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Coleman Cemetery.
