Mrs. Annie Ruth Hendrix, age 92, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2016. She was born in Decatur, AL to the late John and Ethel Sowell Brown. Mrs. Hendrix was a homemaker to her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, L.D. Hendrix, and seven of her children.

Mrs. Hendrix is survived by her daughter, Wanda Smith and her husband Jim of Woodbury, TN; two sons, Wendell Barnett and his wife Sherline of Murfreesboro and Leonard Barnett of Panama City, FL; 30 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and special friends, Tim and Joelle Higgins, Shawan Smotherman, Tina Bishop, Ruby and Bill Little, and Lana Barrett.

Graveside services will be held Monday, August 8, 2016 at 3:00pm in Evergreen Cemetery. Pastor Ray Robinson will officiate.
