Annie Ruth Goodman Cotton, age 88 of Pace FL formerly of Murfreesboro died Wednesday February 21, 2024. She was a native of Lewis County and was preceded in death by her husband, E. B. Cotton, she was also preceded in death by her parents, Demps and Verlie Floyd Goodman; brother, Dempsy Goodman, and a granddaughter, Sara West.

She was a member of Kingwood Church of Christ and was a 1954 graduate of Lewis County High School. Mrs. Cotton was a former Telephone Operator at Alvin C. York Medical Center for over 35 years.

She is survived by her daughters, Elaine Gregory, Kathy West and husband David; grandchildren, Keith Gregory and wife Jaime, Andrew Gregory and wife Rachel, Ryan West and wife Tabi, Steven Gregory and wife Lauren Henderson, Emily West, and Halle West; great-grandchildren, Anna Gartner and husband Avery, Emma Gregory, Abby Gregory, Jemma West, Josie West, Julip West; sister, Faye Harrison.

Visitation will be Tuesday February 27th 11:00AM until 1:00PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be 1:00PM Tuesday February 27th at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Carl Seigenthaler will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. www.woodfinchapel.com
