ANNIE M. BLANTON, age 86, of Murfreesboro, left this earth to be with her Lord on Monday, September 15, 2008. She was a native of Dallas, TX and the daughter of the late Silas Milton and Susie Mae McClamery McClenny. She was also preceded in death by her son: Jimmie Lee Moore in 2007, first husband: Jim Moore, second husband: Jesse Blanton, sister Beulah Mae Parsons, and brother: Milton McClenny. Funeral services will be 6:00 pm Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Pastor Bob Niles will officiate. Burial will be in Restland Cemetery, Dallas, TX. She is survived by her brothers: David (Patricia) McClenny of Dallas, TX, Ferrell (Mildred) McClenny of Dallas, TX, J.R. Mac (Bertha) McClenny of Murfreesboro, nieces: Joyce Anderson of Murfreesboro, Wanda Harrison of Murfreesboro, Morgan Fairchild of California, Cathryn Hartt of Dallas, TX, nephew: Robert (Linda) Parsons of Alabama as well as numerous nieces and nephews in Dallas, TX, 1 grandson, 1 granddaughter,2 great granddaughters, 2 great-grandsons, and a new great great granddaughter of Dallas, TX. Mrs. Blanton was a retired Banker and a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church, Murfreesboro, and a former member of New World United Methodist Church in Garland, TX. Annie Blantons mission after retirement was to provide transportation (especially to church) for the elderly and see to the needs of anyone in need. To know her was to love her.
