Mrs. Anne Etheredge Posey Hitch, age 69, passed peacefully on March 28, 2014 at her home in Smyrna, TN. She was born on March 6, 1945 to E.L. and Annabelle Posey of Crescent City, FL. She was active in her community and the church. As an accomplished piano player she served as pianist for her church and participated in the choir. She also served as the Smyrna children's librarian, delivered Meals on Wheels, and was very active in her children and grandchildren's lives. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, James Edward Hitch Sr. She is also survived by her 3 children, Suzanne McCord Solinger, Shelby Ford Guyton, and James Edward Hitch Jr. and grandchildren Connor Peoples, Brandon Plaisance, Hayden Solinger, Elizabeth Solinger, Heath Guyton, and Aaron Hitch.
