ANNA MAI JONES MITCHELL, age 80, of Smyrna died Monday, September 15, 2008. She was a native of Davidson County and the daughter of the late Fred and Gladys Wright Jones. She was also preceded in death by her husband: Alford L. Mitchell in 2005. Graveside services will be 3:00 pm Saturday, September 20, 2008 at Mapleview Cemetery with Pastor Gary Cornell officiating. She is survived by her sister: Reba Jones Blackwell of Smyrna and her family, son: Don Lauderdale of Smyrna and his family, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Mrs. Mitchell was a retired Accountant and member of the Hamilton United Methodist Church.
