Services for Ann Bock Young, age eighty-six of Murfreesboro who died Friday, November 20, 2009 at Centennial Medical Center, will be 2:00 PM Sunday at First Presbyterian Church Murfreesboro with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Reverend John A. Hinkle, Jr. Pastor of First Presbyterian Church will officiate, and Dr. F. Karl Van Devender will give the eulogy. Mrs. Young was the daughter of the late John Adam Bock and Annie Talley Bock. She was the widow of Guy M. Young; she was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Jane Young. She is survived by daughter, Elizabeth Ann Young Church, her husband Curtis K. Church; two grandsons, Dean Young Holland, his wife April Blackburn Holland, Adam Fletcher Holland, his wife Kathryn Tomlinson Holland, and one great granddaughter Margaret Elizabeth Holland. Mrs. Young was a native of Rutherford County. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Captain William Lytle Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, Garden Lovers Club, and the Rutherford County Historical Society. She was a graduate of the 1940 Class of Central High School, Murfreesboro and attended Lawsons Business College in Murfreesboro.
