Obituary

Ann Brown Perry, age 78, of Murfreesboro died Saturday, April 19, 2014. She was a native of Rutherford County and the daughter of the late Roscoe and Anna Belle McKnight Brown. Mrs. Perry was also preceded in death by her brother, William M. "Buddy" Brown. Funeral service will be 11:00am Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Teb Batey will officiate. Burial will follow in Milton Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Charles A. Perry, sons, Charles Michael Perry of Murfreesboro, Mark Brown Perry of Murfreesboro, Albert Shane Perry of Hyattsville, MD, daughter, Pamela Ann Singer and her husband Ray of Murfreesboro, brother, Gary Brown and his wife Sherry of Murfreesboro, sister-in-law, Helen Brown of Mufreesboro. Mrs. Perry was a 1953 graduate of Kittrell High School and attended MTSU. She was a member and Sunday school teacher at North Boulevard Church of Christ and a retired florist. Active pallbearers will be Teb Batey, Shane Reeves, Trevor Sledge, Johnny McFarlin, Will Santi, Jimmy Starrett, Bryan Walkup, Tommy Burgess and David Jenkins. Honorary pallbearers will be Olen Bell, Charles Pinkerton, Bud Mitchell, Joan Batey, Sara Cogdill, Ella Mae Pittard and Truman Jones. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org) and Caris Healthcare (www.carishealthcare.com) in memory of Mrs. Perry.
