Ann Young Florida, age 94, of Murfreesboro died Saturday, November 19, 2016. Mrs. Florida was a native of Murfreesboro and was preceded in death by her husband Wallace Florida who died in 1988, her parents, J.R. and Kathleen Patterson Young. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Sara "Babe" Jackson and her husband Jimmy.

Graveside services will be at 2:00pm Tuesday at Evergreen Cemetery. Rev. Pam Pilote will officiate. Visitation will be Tuesday from 12:00noon until 1:30pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.

Mrs. Young is survived by two sons, David Florida and his wife Nicki of Mt. Juliet and Marty Florida and his wife Erna of Lawton, OK; her niece and caregiver, Judy Goforth of Murfreesboro.

Mrs. Florida was a member of First Baptist Church a graduate of MTSU and was a retired school teacher. Family and friends will serve as pall bearers.

Memorials may be made to the Building Fund at First Baptist Church in memory of Mrs. Florida.
