DUNN, Ann Rutledge Ball, Age 81; died Thursday, Aug. 15, 2013, in Nashville, Tn. Born, Dec. 29, 1932, in Pulaski, Tn., she was the daughter of the late E.T. and Dessie Ingram Ball. Mrs. Dunn grew up in Giles County, the land of milk and honey. She is a product of Giles County, graduating from Martin College, with friends she kept throughout her life. She then attended and graduated from Peabody College, with a degree in education. She went on to attain a Master's Degree in library science, and taught in schools throughout her life. She is survived by her husband of 60 wonderful years, Rev. Luke Nichols Dunn, her children Elizabeth Lee Fergus and her husband David, Lu-Ann Farrar and her husband Ned, and Luke Nichols Dunn II and his wife Renee. She adored the next generation, her grandchildren: Laura and Lee Fergus, Rachel and Byron Farrar and Allyson Dunn, and her great grandchildren: Kayla Belle Fergus and Luke David Veltum. Together, Luke, a retired United Methodist minister, and Ann served churches throughout Middle Tennessee and was also active in the United Methodist Women and P.E.O. A memorial service will be held at Belmont United Methodist Church located at 2007 Acklen Avenue in Nashville, TN on Monday at 11:30AM. Rev. Ed Blackburn and Rev. Frank Smith will officiate. Visitation will be Monday at the church from 10:00AM to 11:30AM.
