MRS. ANN LAMB DEMUMBREUM, age 72, of the Blackman Community of Rutherford County died Wednesday, October 15, 2008. She was a native of Rutherford County and the daughter of the late Omar Francis & Pauline Jones Lamb. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Alfred Demumbreum; daughter, Paula Clayton Agee and her husband Michael of Murfreesboro; two sons, Jim Demumbreum and his wife, Sandra of Goose Creek, S. C. and Lynn Demumbreum and his wife, Connie of College Grove, Tennessee; grandchildren, Jamie Demumbreum, Jeff Demumbreum, Josh Demumbreum, Jennifer Wiggins, Brian Clayton and Brian Agee; great grandchildren, Gavin Wiggins, Presleigh Wiggins, Madelyn Demumbreum, Jackson Demumbreum, and Tristan Demumbreum. Funeral services will be 10 am Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Michael Steakley officiating and special speaker Billy Henson. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family 4-8 pm Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Demumbreum was preceded in death by her brother, Omar Eugene Lamb. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a Sister in Christ. She was a member of the Bellwood Church of Christ and retired from BellSouth. Active pallbearers will be Jim Jackson, Ben Arnette, Billy Henson, Albert Comer, Ted Beach, Bart Smith, Loyd Scott, and David Driver. Honorary pallbearer will be Bill Smith.
