Ann Bland age 78 of Murfreesboro, passed away March 9, 2015. A native of Cannon County, she was the daughter of the late John Dillard and Willie Mae Wallace Manus. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Buford "Tommy" Bland, sisters, Racine Jones, Wilma Sullins, and brothers, Roger Manus and Frank Manus. Funeral service will be 11:00am Thursday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Brother Wayne Lankford officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Mrs. Bland is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Linda Bland,Sr, of Missouri, two grandchildren, Ricky Bland, Jr. and his wife Kahlie, and Phillip Bland all of Missouri, two great-grandchildren, Oliver Bland and Lucas Bland. She is also survived by her sister, Waddell Prater of Woodbury, nieces Lisa Ann Prater of Woodbury, Candy Hood and her husband Jonathan of Franklin, Nyoka Robinson of Murfreesboro, Jamie Bland of Fairview, nephews Tommy Bland of Alabama, Kevin Bland and his wife Darleen of Dickson, great nephews, Matthew Hood, Mason Hood and brother-in-law Harold Bland and his wife Pat of Fairview. Mrs. Bland was a member of East Main Street Church of Christ. Visitation will be 4:00pm until 8:00pm Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
