Angelo J. Daconto, Sr, age 85, of Smyrna, passed away October 13, 2014. A native of Bridgeport, CT, he was the son of the late Louis, Sr and Josephine Sedita Daconto. A funeral mass will be held Thursday, October 16, 2014 at 2:00 PM at St Luke's Catholic Church with Father Jacob Dio officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Daconto is survived by his children: Barbara (Dennis) Chapman, Angelo (Missy) Daconto, Jr, Louie (Michelle) Daconto, Dean (Cathy) Daconto, Linda (Massimo) Esposito, and Cindy (Ronnie) Arnold; brother, Louis Daconto Jr ; sister, Sally Simna; 19 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. He was married to the late Estelle Daconto who passed away in 2000. Mr. Daconto was a member of St Luke's Catholic Church for 30 years and The Knights of Columbus. He was a retired grocery produce manager. Sons-in-law and grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna.
