ANGELA MISS ANN McNEW CARTWRIGHT, age 51, of Smyrna, Tn. died Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, S. C. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward McNew. She is survived by her husband, Kenny Cartwright; daughter, Star Cartwright of Smyrna; son, Jeremy (Amanda) Cartwright USAF stationed in Okinawa, Japan; sisters, Melanie Rogers, Seymour, Tn., Denise Kagley, Knoxville, Tn.; brother, Mark Rogers, Knoxville, Tn.; three grandchildren, Savannah Hollenberger, Brooklyn Skye Cartwright and Raven Leigh Nicoles; mother, Bea Rogers, Knoxville, Tn. Funeral services 1 pm Tuesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with John Gouldner officiating. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery. Visitation with the family after 11 am Tuesday. Mrs. Cartwright was a Christian and a waitress with Sonic. She was a graduate of Rule High School in Knoxville.
