ANDREW L. JACK TODD, III, age 81, of Murfreesboro, died October 25, 2010, following a brief illness. He was a native of Murfreesboro and the son of the late Mayor Andrew L. and Martha Fox Todd. He was also preceded in death by his wife Margaret Patterson Todd and a brother, the late Dr. Aaron W. Todd. A Celebration of Life will be 3pm Sunday, May 1, 2011 at First United Methodist Church, Murfreesboro, TN. He was a loving father to his four children, sons Andrew P. Andy Todd of Nashville and David L. Todd of Greeley, CO; daughters, Catherine Todd Randel of Greeley, CO, and Anne W. Todd of Eugene, OR; nine grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Mr. Todd was a retired executive with State Farm Insurance Company having served 35 years. He moved in 1992 with his wife Margie, back to his hometown of Murfreesboro He was a 1946 graduate of The Baylor School and a 1950 graduate of Vanderbilt University. If you look up the word humble in the dictionary it would read, Jack Todd. One of his favorite sayings was You are a wonder, you are a dream, you are the captain of my team.
