Amy J. Walters age 85 of Lavergne, TN, died Saturday July 23, 2011. A native of St. Tammany Parish , Louisiana, she was the daughter of the late Robert Henry and Neota Coffee Krentel. Mrs. Walters is survived by a son, Alan Johnson of Nashville, TN; daughter, Neota Johnson of Lavergne, TN; 7 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Rev. Beth Ezell officiating. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Mrs. Walters was a member of Cornerstone United Methodist Church and a retired teacher from the State of Tennessee Rehabilitation Center.
