Amy Lynn Markum age 39 of Murfreesboro, passed away Monday September 30, 2013. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Rachel VanWinkle. Funeral service will be 11:00am Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Steve Marcum officiating. Interment will be 2:30 Friday at Lonewood Cemetery in Spencer,Tennessee. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Mrs. Markum is survived by her husband of 16 years; Carl Wayne Markum, daughters; Rachel Ann Markum, Jamie Rose Markum all of Murfreesboro, grandmother; Ella VanWinkle of Manchester, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandfather; Thurman VanWinkle. Mrs. Markum was a surgical technician at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital for 8 ½ years.
