Mrs. Alline Vaughn Puckett Dye, age 84, of Murfreesboro died June 18, 2015. Mrs. Dye was a native of Rutherford County and was a daughter of the late Samuel Enoch and Claudia Alline Pitts Vaughn, Sr. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Joe "Jay" Puckett; brothers, Jim, Fred, Claude, Thomas, and Sam Vaughn, Jr.; sisters, Christine Hardman, mother of Jay and Alline's son, David E. Hardman; her late husband, Garnett J. Dye of Covington, GA. Mrs. Dye is survived by a son, David Hardman and his wife Katie of Rockvale, TN; brother, Joe Vaughn of Georgia; sisters, Betty Vaughn and Dorothy Clancy of Murfreesboro, Martha McAdoo of Georgia and Nadine Jones of Florida. Graveside services will be at 2:30pm Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Rev. Ron Byers will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until 2:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Mrs. Dye was a member of Barfield Baptist Church and retired from State Farm Insurance Company.
