ALLIE ELIZABETH MORRIS CARTER, age 99, of Murfreesboro, died June 12, 2012. A native of Marshall Co., AL, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson and Ada Lee Rice Morris. Funeral services will be Friday at 2:00 PM at Kingwood Heights Church of Christ with Bro. Charles Mullins officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Nashville. Mrs. Carter is survived by daughters, Janis Lee Carter Adcock (Rayburn) of Goodlettsville, and Connie Elaine Carter Craig (Don) of Murfreesboro; sister, Ann Maynard Posey of Soddy-Daisy, TN; grandchildren, Thomas Adcock, Teresa Boyce, Laura Lee Culwell, Jeffery Donald Craig, and James Carter Craig; and nine great grandchildren. Mrs. Carter was married to the late Woodrow Carter who died in 1987. Mrs. Carter. was a member of Kingwood Heights Church of Christ. Visitation will be from 4:00 until 8:00 PM Thursday at Kingwood Heights Church of Christ and from 12:00 PM until service time at the church on Friday.
