Allen Watts age 86 of Murfreesboro died February 18, 2014. Mr. Watts was a native of Murfreesboro and son of the late, Arthur M. and Annie Puckett Watts. He was also preceded in death by his wife Mary Nisbett Watts. Funeral service will be 2:00PM Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Rev. Eugene Cotey and Pam Pilote will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Mr. Watts is survived by his; daughters, Sandra Pineault and husband Tony of Murfreesboro, Laura Watts of Rolla, MO., Joan Howell and husband Randy of Murfreesboro; his son, Roy Watts and wife Laurie of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Jade and Jacob Watts, 1st LT Ryan Howell and his wife Nova Jude, Hannah Howell Johnson and husband Benjamin, Molly Howell; Leah Pineault Bunnell and husband Benjamin, Marty Pineault; twin great-grandsons, Edwin and Rory Bunnell. Mr. Watts was a 1948 graduate of Murfreesboro Central High School and received his BS Degree in 1960 from MTSU. He was a member and former deacon of First Baptist Church and was employed at Samsonite for over 30 years. He was a charter member of Murfreesboro Noon Exchange Club and severed as their first President. Mr. Watts was a member of Mt. Moriah Masonic Lodge #18. He was member and former chairman of the Rutherford County School Board and a member and avid supporter of the Blue Raider Athletic Association for over 30 years. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be 4:00PM until 8:00PM Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel
