Allen D. Smith, age 85 of Murfreesboro, TN, died Tuesday March 6, 2012. A native of Flint, MI, he was the son of the late George and Alice Leaming Smith. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mary Anne Dalesandry Smith who died in 2004, and by a son, Alan Smith. Mr. Smith is survived by a son, Adam Smith and his wife Stephanie of Champaign, IL; daughters, Allison Smith of Murfreesboro, TN, and Anne Marie Lowe of Westland, MI; six grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Graveside services will be 9:00 AM EST Saturday March 10, 2012 at Michigan Memorial Park in Flat Rock, MI. Mr. Smith was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in WWII and Korea.
