Allan Blount deMille

Mr. Allan Blount deMille, age 88, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2026. Allan was born in Los Angels, California on May 22, 1938 to the late John Blount deMille and Louise Denker deMille. He was the husband of Mary Lou Nance deMille.

Mr. deMille graduated from Tulane University and spent his working career as a commercial insurance broker.

Mr. deMille is survived by his wife, Mary Lou deMille; sister, Dianne deMille Mincheff; grandson, Miles Blount deMille; and niece, Kathleen Dianne Brannan. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Blount deMille.

Cremation services are being handled by Woodfin Funeral Chapels.
