Aliyah Jynn Giffen, age 6, passed peacefully at home with her loved ones on Saturday June 18, 2011. Aliyah was born in Davidson County to her parents Jon and TJ Fisher Giffen. She is also survived by her grandparents, Robert and Marsha Reeder, Charlie and Debbie Giffen and Jerry Fisher; brother Jordon Jones; uncles and aunt, Jeremy and Darci Fisher Alexander, Jamie Reeder and Andy and Katie Vaughn Giffen; Great Grandparent Evelyn Fisher; and great uncles and aunts, Thaxton and Sherline Boner and Jerry and Linda Tucker Britt. Aliyah is preceded in death by her Great Grandparents, Dorris and Madeline Whitley, Kenneth Fisher, Cecil and Elsie Giffen and Erb Jon and Annie Ruth Goff. Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:00 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Brother Ron Caldwell will officiate. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. Shane Gaspard, Charlie Giffen, Michael Boner, Andy Giffen, Chris Clark, Phillip Lemacks will serve as pallbearers. Paul Johnson, Danny Martin, Eugene Boner , and Duane Boner will serve as honorary pallbearers. Visitation will be Thursday and Friday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. 893-5151
