Alisa Renee' Tate , age 47 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Tuesday May 9, 2017. She was born August 29, 1969 in Memphis, TN.

Alisa is survived by her son, Griffin Lee Moore of Ashland City, TN; parents, Dr. Morris Lee Tate, Jr. and Judy Dotson Tate of Destin, FL; brother, Charles "Chuck" Tate of Nashville, TN; grandfather, Morris Lee Tate, Sr. of Memphis, TN; and loving soul mate, Forrest York of Murfreesboro, TN.

A celebration of life will be 12:00 noon Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Dr. Wayne Westmoreland officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 10: 00 AM until the service time at 12:00 noon.

Alisa received her B.S. degree from Middle Tennessee State University. She worked in the music industry, and formerly worked for Universal and Harlan Howard Records.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Autism Foundation in memory of Alisa.
