Alex Wesley Mullins, age 87 of Murfreesboro, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2016. He was a native of Rutherford County and the son of the late Jessie and May Merriman Mullins. He was also preceded in death by his five brothers, four sisters, son, Alex Ray Mullins and his wife, Myrtle Irene Mullins.

Funeral service will be 1:00pm Wednesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Pastor John Hill will officiate. Burial will follow in Coleman Cemetery.

He  is survived by his son, Billy Mullins and his wife Tina, daughter, Patricia Gail Robinson and her husband Allen, all of Murfreesboro, grandchildren, Angie and Roger Dearry, Christopher Mullins, Nathan Mullins, Brian and Tiffany Mullins, great grandchildren, Roger III, Joseph and Samantha Dearry, Trent, Brooklyn and Carmella Mullins, Bryce and Brennan Mullins.

Mr. Mullins was a lifelong carpenter.
