Alex Gunn, age 19 of LaVergne, died Monday, October 5, 2015. He was born in Madison, TN and was a 2015 graduate of Lancaster Christian Academy where he played baseball and football. He attended Motlow State Community College, Smyrna Campus and worked at the Ford Ice Center, Antioch. Alex was preceded in death by his mother, Michelle Bryson, and his maternal grandmother, Patricia Wey. Survivors include his father, Tim Gunn of LaVergne; siblings, Ryan Reynolds of Whiteville, TN; Fairia Walden and Gunner Walden both of Ashland City; an uncle, Mark Gunn and paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Murphy both of LaVergne; paternal grandfather, Andrew Gunn and wife Betty of Ft. Myers, FL; and several aunts, uncles, and a host of other loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday from 11:00am until the time of funeral services beginning at 2:00pm at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Burial will follow in Mapleview cemetery.
